4 Months!

Posted by mary on March 3rd, 2009

Sam turns 4 months old today. He had his wellness check-up yesterday and got 4 shots. He didn’t even flinch for the first one and just looked at me like, did something just happen to my leg? He sure felt the next 3 and let everyone know about it. He weighed 14 lbs 11 oz (50%), was 26 in long (90%), and head circumference was 41 cm (25%). We wonder if he’s going to keep growing lengthwise – we also wonder why his head is so small. I assume it’s because Carter got all the ‘big head’ genes. Carter weighed 16 lbs 8 oz at 4 months – what a chunk!

I tried to get a picture of Carter & Sam together…one would smile and one would be looking somewhere else. I think Carter got the ‘Grandpa Slusser smile’ gene… here’s our photo shoot:

One of these days we’ll actually get real pictures taken of them!

When I was looking for Carter’s 4 month picture, I came across this one. I thought it looked pretty similiar to Sam:

Carter definitely has the Tommy jr smile in the 3rd and 4th pictures of those two on the couch.  At least Carter didn’t get his hearing…..

  6. Grandpa Slusser Says:

I heard that!!!  It’s fun watching Sam and Carter grow up and change.

I forgot you have gotten really good at reading closed captioning.  So you didn’t hear anything, you just read it across the bottom of the screen.  : )
