Ooooohhhhhhh man, totally forgot I had pictures on the camera!

Brea had her 1st birthday party on April 17. Their house was fully decorated for the event:

Sam was very intrigued by the mower the first time we mowed this year. We probably didn’t have him outside at all last year when Brad mowed because he was so little. He loved watching Brad mow and studied his every move. We got the Little Tikes mower out for him to use – I told him to go help Daddy and this is what he did:

Nothing like capturing their ‘firsts’. Sam has had a few timeouts since this, but this is his first one. He was being very crabby and wanted a drink – so when I gave it to him, he cried and knocked it out of my hand and then whined for a drink. You know the cycle. I knelt down to him and he slapped me right across the cheek. That led to this:

One day last week we went up to Gma Waggoner’s with Mom and Dad. It was a long day of being in the car, but they didn’t do too bad. They don’t see Gma Waggoner too often (maybe two times a year) but they weren’t shy at all. At lunch Carter whispered in my ear, “Why is she so tiny?” As you can tell from this picture of her playing with Sam, she is pretty tiny:

Sam was so sweet when we left. He sat up by Gma for a picture and even kissed her (on her nose) goodbye:
